Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying the same stress, grief, relationship struggles, or emotional pain for far too long. You may feel frustrated that despite your efforts, the same patterns keep showing up in your relationships, communication feels difficult, burnout has taken over, or life no longer feels sustainable in the way it once did. Some clients come in feeling anxious, emotionally drained, lost in a major life transition, or unsure how to reconnect with themselves or the people they love. If this sounds like you, I'm glad you're here. I specialize in working with young adults and couples experiencing relationship distress, emotional disconnection, attachment injury, burnout, betrayal trauma, separation, and major life transitions. I also support women navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, identity shifts, and the emotional challenges that can come with these changes. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process rooted in honesty, connection, and compassion. Using a person-centered, attachment-based approach, I work alongside clients to explore the emotions and patterns keeping them stuck. Together, we work toward healing, healthier relationships, and greater overall balance, hope, and fulfillment.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
In-Person & Online
Highlands Ranch, CO

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with 14 years of acute care nursing experience across various settings, I have come to appreciate the complexities of the human experience and the importance of prioritizing our mental health. I approach each individual holistically, with a desire to understand their unique experience, current struggles, and hopes for the future in order to build a personalized and collaborative treatment approach. Being human is a dynamic and challenging process, and it is my goal to help you navigate difficult times to reach a space of fulfillment and resilience. My specialties include the evaluation and treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, gender identity, bipolar, and other mood disorders for children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan. Mental health is the foundation that allows you to live a full and steady life, and my goal is to create a safe space where we can work together to stabilize and build upon that foundation. That’s why my approach is warm, curious, compassionate, and collaborative, drawing on evidence-based practice while always considering the unique person in front of me and their specific goals. Seeking mental health care is a vulnerable process, and it can feel daunting and scary. I want our time together to feel like a warm, open-minded space, one where I can bring hope, joy, and a little humor into the work. Alongside my clinical knowledge, I'll bring your specific needs and goals to the table, and together we'll build a treatment plan that feels manageable. From there, we'll navigate the process with curiosity and flexibility, in a way that's uniquely yours. Together, as a team, we'll find a path forward. My path to becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner was shaped by years spent at the bedside of patients as a nurse. Time and again, I noticed how often mental health concerns were dismissed or went unaddressed. Seeing this, and knowing there was only so much I could do to help within that role, is what compelled me to become a PMHNP. I was also raised in a military family, having lived all over the country and the world, and I'm sensitive to the impact of ethnicity, culture, and environment on mental health. Additionally, as a member of a marginalized community, I bring compassion and understanding to the interplay between societal constraints and mental health. When I'm not with patients, I enjoy staying active, spending time in nature, and connecting with close friends. I love visiting family and my nieces, and traveling to experience new cultures, foods, and perspectives.

I am a believer that we are all interconnected. Our relationships matter most to our wellbeing. And while we are living in a time where we are easily able to connect with one another, we have also never been so isolated and alone. The messages we receive from our greater systems often are at odds with what I know contribute to our wellbeing. Because of that we can often feel stuck, less than, or constantly hustling for “that thing.” We can end up chasing the wrong thing and find ourselves perpetually behind or inadequate. Our culture often places so much emphasis on outcomes, appearance, and external or material things. I sincerely believe that they are often at the root of our unhappiness. We often are doing the thing we think will help us but it ultimately harms us! We are doing it wrong. Together we will explore the often painful and uncomfortable spaces within and work from an Inside-Out approach. In doing so, we find that the storms tend to be more universal, we see our common humanity, we develop more self compassion and compassion and empathy for others. When we are our authentic selves, we become more free and our sessions will include plenty of laughing even as we dive into the parts that feel hard. We were never meant to do this life alone. And yet – so many of us are often sold on false narratives that “it’s just you” or have been invalidated, shamed, or traumatized by oppressive systems on the larger scale or within our own homes. My pride in the work is to help you become your best self, the one who is not merely living, but the one who is truly alive. Feeling it all, skin in the game, open to heartbreak, receptive to joy. Facing our pain is not easy (I know this well!). But I know deeply that when we do the right kind of hard, our efforts are fruitful beyond measure. Let’s face this together.

"My life looks completely different than I thought it would, and I don't know what to do with that." "I feel like I should be over it by now, but I'm not." "I'm tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix." "My mind won't stop, and I'm exhausted from trying to keep up with it." Whatever brought you here, you don't have to figure it out alone. Naming what's underneath the pain can be a relief in itself. From there, we can begin listening to what's in your heart — clarifying what you value and hope for — and working together toward the changes that bring healing, meaning, and joy. I am passionate about working with those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma — including spiritual trauma — grief, and health-related challenges. The relationship we build is the foundation of this work. I use a person-centered, trauma-informed approach with CBT, bringing warmth and deep respect for your story. Your goals and your pace guide the process. If this sounds like what you've been looking for, I'd welcome the chance to connect. Reach out by calling, texting, or sending an email to get scheduled for your first appointment.

I founded Keshet Counseling to support individuals who often feel overlooked or misunderstood in traditional therapy spaces. My work is especially meaningful to those navigating the complexities of chronic illness, such as Lyme Disease, Mold Toxicity, MCAS, and other invisible disabilities, as well as those facing antisemitism or discrimination for not aligning with political or institutional expectations. I also work closely with teens and adults dealing with antisemitism, narcissistic abuse, multicultural identity issues, codependency, love addiction, grief, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma. My approach is rooted in body centered somatic psychology using mindfulness. We’ll explore unconscious beliefs and patterns shaping your experience by noticing whats happening for you in this moment. I hold a humanistic view of healing: I believe you are already whole, worthy, and deeply capable of transformation. My role is to help reconnect you to your own inner knowing, and I view our relationship as a collaborative space where your voice and wisdom lead the way. I don’t believe there’s something wrong with you, rather, what happened to you.

My mission as a professional counselor is simple: Create a safe and respectful space where my clients can honestly explore, and learn from their personal stories. It is a true honor and privilege to facilitate these personal moments of discovery, that are often raw, difficult and challenging. My areas of focus are those who may be struggling with issues relating to depression, anxiety, grief and loss and life transitions. I also work with young adults in assisting them in facing challenges such as: negative body image, lack of confidence and self esteem, pressures around academics and friendships, loneliness, and future employment concerns While I utilize a variety of counseling techniques depending upon the situation including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, these are simply means to an end. I’ve learned my clients are seeking someone who listens, and guides them to a path of discovery and healing.

As a mental health professional backed by five years of social work experience in trauma-heavy fields, I understand the complexity of how harm affects the mind and body. Now, through compassion and collaboration, I am committed to helping adolescents and adults face systemic and interpersonal challenges by utilizing a holistic approach to mental health care. Guided by a belief in dignity, I practice cultural humility, which helps me be respectful and open to other worldviews and to patients with experiences vastly different from mine. I look forward to meeting you where you are and seeing how we can make your reality work best for you. My focus is on trauma-informed care, a psychospiritual framework, and meaning-making in people's lives. You'll notice I often ask what brings you joy, incorporating that into our work together while holding space to recognize where there is dissonance in your life, how two or more things can be true at once, and what that means for your experience and relationships. I value facing fear with compassion and patience, holding immense respect for people courageous enough to ask for help, along with a belief that it is okay not to be okay. Throughout our time together, you can expect a calm, collaborative, and empowering environment tailored to your unique goals. Using a strengths-based perspective, and knowing that you are the expert on your own experience, I help you recognize what you have accomplished, even in the toughest of your struggles, and how those strengths can continue to grow. My path to becoming a therapist was unexpected: my original plan was to become a member of the clergy, and I have honored spirituality through work in interfaith ministry. Through social work, I discovered I enjoy helping people heal and grow more than leading them, which is what ultimately drew me away from that path. It started by working with people experiencing homelessness and then in residential care for students with behavioral disabilities before being drawn back to school to pursue therapy. My diversity in my professional career has led to a deep commitment to providing care that honors the whole person and is judgment-free in each session. I enjoy hiking, swimming, and biking in nature; mountains and rivers speak to my soul. I appreciate art, but know nothing about it – I just like to look. One of my more unique hobbies is seeking out spiritually diverse experiences, and I am also one of those people obsessed with the color purple.

With more than a decade of experience in healthcare, I'm a professional counselor who works with people of all backgrounds, with a particular focus on adolescents and young adults. Depression, anxiety, stress management, and identity-related challenges are where I focus my support, helping you navigate the mental and emotional shifts that affect your growth and identity. I believe in innate dignity at all times, which shapes the empathetic, encouraging therapeutic relationship I build with you. Together, we can build a path toward flourishing. My approach keeps treatment as simple as possible. Together, we build a roadmap by asking three questions: Where are you now? Where do you want to be? And how do you get there, in light of the challenges you're facing? Your growth is something I'm passionate about, and I believe we're all striving to experience goodness and flourishing in every area of our lives. How we get there looks different for each of us, so my goal is to help you build the skills and perspectives you need to thrive in every situation. That work happens in sessions that are lighthearted and engaging, designed to both challenge and encourage you. I draw on EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help build your confidence, which translates into a therapeutic style that's relaxed and empathetic, tailored to your unique blend of personal, professional, and social desires. My path to becoming a therapist began as a traveling sports medicine professional. As I worked with athletes recovering from serious physical injuries, I learned that their ability to return to sport was not dictated by their body, but by their mind. This experience led me to engage fully with clinical mental health counseling, as each of us experiences challenges that can become obstacles or springboards. I bring a clinical perspective that considers the mental and the physical experiences of life to each session. Outside the therapy room, you’ll most often find me enjoying sporting and outdoor activities.

Are intrusive thoughts, reassurance seeking, mental spirals, or “what if” fears taking over your life? I work with teens and adults navigating OCD and anxiety, especially when symptoms overlap with identity, relationships, religion, sexuality, or fears that feel deeply personal and isolating. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, ashamed, or exhausted by their minds. Together, we build tools to reduce OCD’s grip, increase self-trust, and help you move toward a life guided by your values. I specialize in OCD, Anxiety, and Depression, and I have a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ populations. Using ERP, DBT, psychodynamic, and narrative therapy, we’ll build insight, challenge stuck patterns, and strengthen emotional regulation. Highlighting a balance of depth, practical tools, and humor. Living with OCD can feel exhausting and isolating, especially when your thoughts don’t make sense to others. You deserve a space where all parts of you feel welcome. I offer affirming, collaborative therapy for queer clients ready to loosen OCD’s grip and reconnect with themselves. I'd love to connect if this feels like a good fit!
