My work as a clinical social work student intern centers on helping adults and youth develop tools for managing stress and anxiety, improve emotional regulation, build self-esteem, and navigate life's challenges, such as supporting patients through grief and loss, including pet loss. As a queer woman, I am deeply passionate about providing affirming and supportive care for LGBTQ+ individuals, and I strive to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported in every conversation. I believe meaningful connection is at the heart of our well-being, and look forward to partnering with you to better understand your experiences, recognize your strengths, and navigate life's challenges together. Through our work together, my hope is that you feel empowered to better understand yourself, embrace your authentic self, and create a greater sense of connection in your life. My approach to care is rooted in a person-in-environment, trauma-informed lens, recognizing that every person is affected by the broader systems around them, including our relationships, communities, and the systems we're part of. I believe we must address these external impacts while also navigating our internal processes. Together, we’ll identify the unique stressors affecting your well-being and develop practical coping skills that support your personal growth. In our sessions, you can expect a safe, encouraging, and nonjudgmental environment. I incorporate concepts from various modalities, including Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), animal-related engagement, motivational interviewing, and expressive art techniques, tailoring each session to fit your needs and meet you where you are on your journey. The human-animal bond is something I deeply value and, when meaningful to you, I enjoy incorporating concepts related to animals and nature into our work together. My path to becoming a therapist began with a deep love and passion for animals and their human companions. As a registered veterinary technician for more than 10 years, I supported individuals and families through many of life's emotional challenges, including navigating difficult decisions, grief, and loss. These experiences helped me recognize a desire to support not only the animals in my care, but also the people who love them, which ultimately led me to pursue clinical social work and deepen my ability to support the mental and emotional well-being of my community. My personal experiences with therapy also shaped the therapist I hope to become, giving me a deep sense of curiosity, compassion, and empathy for those navigating difficult times. This compassion for all living beings carries into my therapeutic space, where I value human connection as the foundation of a meaningful therapeutic relationship. During my free time, I enjoy indoor and outdoor rock climbing with my husband, going for long walks while listening to audiobooks, hiking, spending time with friends, reading, and creating art.

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or disconnected? You’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I work best with college and graduate students who are carrying a lot on their shoulders, even if it doesn’t always show on the outside. Many of the students I support are struggling with anxiety, stress, or burnout. They may be navigating big life transitions like starting college, transferring, or getting close to graduation. Some are dealing with family stress, relationship challenges, or attachment issues. Others are carrying the impact of past trauma or loss. Many feel disconnected from themselves and unsure of who they are or what direction they want to take. You might look high-functioning on the outside but feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or numb on the inside. You may be the one everyone depends on, yet you rarely feel supported yourself. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place. My approach is warm, grounded, and trauma-informed. That means we go at your pace, focus on helping your nervous system feel safer, and work on real-life tools you can actually use between sessions. You do not need to have the right words or a clear goal before starting. Showing up as you are is enough. If you are a student who wants to feel more steady, more connected, and more like yourself again, I would love to support you.

I help self-aware overthinkers break free from old patterns and learn to trust themselves more deeply. My clients are often insightful, motivated, and may have been in therapy before, but still find themselves stuck in cycles of overwhelm, self-doubt, people-pleasing, and overthinking. Through our work, you'll learn to trust your own voice, show up authentically in your relationships, and finally feel at home — koselig — in your own skin. Many of my clients grew up in homes where their physical needs were met, but their emotional experiences were minimized, dismissed, or misunderstood. As a result, they learned that their feelings were "too much" and became disconnected from their own emotional world. As adults, they often struggle with anxiety, rumination, self-trust, and maintaining healthy, authentic relationships. They may appear capable and self-aware on the outside while feeling disconnected from themselves on the inside. I believe many of the patterns that once helped you survive are now keeping you from fully being yourself. Rather than judging or fighting those patterns, we'll approach them with curiosity and compassion, helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been buried beneath fear, doubt, and old expectations. You don't need to keep abandoning yourself to belong. I'd love to journey alongside you as you come home to who you've been all along— and feel confident, connected, and koselig in your own skin.

Are intrusive thoughts, reassurance seeking, mental spirals, or “what if” fears taking over your life? I work with teens and adults navigating OCD and anxiety, especially when symptoms overlap with identity, relationships, religion, sexuality, or fears that feel deeply personal and isolating. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, ashamed, or exhausted by their minds. Together, we build tools to reduce OCD’s grip, increase self-trust, and help you move toward a life guided by your values. I specialize in OCD, Anxiety, and Depression, and I have a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ populations. Using ERP, DBT, psychodynamic, and narrative therapy, we’ll build insight, challenge stuck patterns, and strengthen emotional regulation. Highlighting a balance of depth, practical tools, and humor. Living with OCD can feel exhausting and isolating, especially when your thoughts don’t make sense to others. You deserve a space where all parts of you feel welcome. I offer affirming, collaborative therapy for queer clients ready to loosen OCD’s grip and reconnect with themselves. I'd love to connect if this feels like a good fit!

I would value the opportunity to be a part of your journey toward becoming your ideal self. I view therapy as collaborative and an opportunity to gain insight, skills, and growth. I strive to help people not only resolve their current problems but gain the confidence and skills to deal with challenges in the future. I am well-versed in tailoring empirically supported therapeutic approaches to suit the unique needs of my clients, no matter the concern. I have worked with a variety of client concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, injury recovery, interpersonal conflict, and life transitions just to name a few. I also have specific training and a passion for working with athletes, high performers, return to sport, injury recovery/management, TBIs, and chronic pain/illnesses. With a sport and performance psychology background, I often incorporate performance components in my work as I view performance elements not only occurring in sports but all areas of our life. I am a firm believer in the importance of training the mind and body. When in balance, they are capable of incredible feats. Just as you train your body, I will help you strengthen your mind to improve your overall wellbeing and chase your dreams! I am PSYPACT certified, meaning I can meet with clients in several other states (states that are PSYPACT members) and would be a good option for those frequently traveling. LET’S BE HONEST: Existing between worlds is exhausting. Co-existing in multiple worlds and cultures doesn’t come with a roadmap. The competing demands and expectations leave you feeling tugged in opposing directions, and you’re left with the feeling that no matter how hard you try, you’ll never be enough for anyone. Even though there are many people in your life, it feels like nobody from any ‘side’ really gets you, and you’re not sure where you truly belong. You’re tired of facing microaggressions when you’re out and about and obstacles to advancing at work. All this is impacting your relationship, where you’re struggling to communicate and feel a sense of togetherness across the divides.

In the middle of becoming someone new? I work with adolescents and adults navigating identity transitions—career pivots, new parenthood, finishing school, layoffs, or the quieter realization that the life you’ve been building no longer fits. I came to this work through my own transition after a decade in tech startups, so I understand what it’s like to question your path and grow into something not yet fully defined. I’m also a new mom, with firsthand experience of the disorientation and identity shifts that can come with early parenthood—so if you’re in that season, you won’t have to explain it from scratch. I draw from several evidence based approaches; Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). What matters more than the models themselves is how therapy feels: collaborative, structured when helpful, open-ended when needed, and grounded in approaches that are proven to support real change. Therapy works best when it feels like yours—like the conversations you’d want to be having if you had the right person to have them with. My role is to be that person, while also offering tools and frameworks that help you make sense of what’s happening, not just talk about it.
