Are you constantly on the go and can’t seem to relax and just be? Are you using social media, TV, food, or alcohol to numb difficult feelings? When there is an inner struggle we distract, keep busy, avoid, or numb in an attempt to make the discomfort go away. Individual Therapy provides an opportunity for a deeper understanding of our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. In our work together I will provide a safe space for exploration and growth. Hi, I’m Pamela. I have worked in this field in varied settings for the last 10 years. Hi! I'm Julie Rodgers, Licensed Professional Counselor. I have much experience working in college counseling centers and am passionate about supporting young adults successfully navigate their college experience (academic, socially, emotionally, financially). I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to increase mindfulness/acceptance and increase skills to improve emotion regulation, interpersonal skills, and distress tolerance. I incorporate other approaches as well and like to keep session stimulating and fun with art-based activities! I am trained in trauma-informed yoga and incorporate mind-body experience to process traumatic events. Our center runs DBT groups weekly, so that is a wonderful option in addition to individual therapy for those looking for group connection. I look forward to meeting you!

As a young adult, you often wonder what can be done to help yourself feel better. You have tried many things yet there has been little to no lasting improvement. Your personality has changed, you have challenges with relationships, their interests have decreased and you worry that things might get worse. You know that you have great potential to do great things but the way things are going, your future looks bleak. Seeking help can be scary, because you want to make sure that you have someone but feel scared about taking the risk of letting anyone in. Imagine what it would feel like not to constantly worry about so many things all of the time and feel confident about making decisions about everyday tasks. You would feel better about yourself and your ability to handle difficult situations that arise. In order to accommodate your schedule, I offer evening and weekend appointments so you don't have to worry about missing school. Together, we'll create a customized plan to get you back on track. Call my office to learn more and schedule your free consultation today. Make a change today!

I’m a good fit for students who get trapped in their head—overthinking everything, replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, or feeling like they can’t relax unless everything is “handled.” You might be high-achieving, but constantly stressed, exhausted, or scared of messing up. Sometimes that turns into procrastination, avoidance, or feeling numb. In therapy, we’ll focus on helping you calm the mental noise, handle stress more effectively, and build confidence in your choices—so school and life don’t feel like a constant emergency.

Hi, I‘m Chaise (He/Him), a student therapist under supervision as I complete my Master’s in Couples and Family Therapy. I recently moved to Philadelphia and spent most of my life living in a rural area before I moved. My journey towards becoming a therapist has been shaped by my life experiences and a desire to help people understand and cope with things that they experience. When I was studying psychology at Millersville University, I knew I wanted to be a therapist but struggled trying to figure out how I wanted to help people. Through the classes I took and internships I did I realized that the area I really wanted to focus on was sexuality and creating a space where people can feel safe and comfortable talking about any aspect that they want/need to. I’m especially drawn to working with people who are in the LGBTQ+ community as well as people or couples who are struggling with issues related to kinks and fetishes and/or sex addiction. One of my personal philosophies is that these topics needs a safe space to be talked about whether it be needing support while you explore your sexual identity or wanting additional support while you and your partner(s) discuss boundaries or discuss what you desire from each other sexually. My life experiences have helped me to understand that each person’s lived experiences are unique to them and so what may help one person might not help someone else. I try to bring this understanding with me into each session so I can try to support each client to the best of my ability while still trying to stay true to myself.

Immediate availability! I am a licensed psychologist who works with adults 18+ and couples, particularly around navigating stress and anxiety, insomnia, building self-confidence, navigating life transitions, and relationships. My goal is to create a space where you can feel comfortable discussing challenging experiences and relationships, build resilience and coping skills, and develop your own individual identity. I hope to make this a collaborative experience in which we can engage in problem solving and exploration around all aspects of personal and professional development, while also sharing in some laughter. I help adults and couples get unstuck, navigate challenges more effectively, and build healthier, more connected relationships and lives. I also provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), the first-line treatment for chronic insomnia. My style is warm and conversational, but also active and direct. With couples, I use Relational Life Therapy to interrupt and change patterns driving conflict or disconnection and strengthen connection. In individual therapy, we may work on practical tools, boundaries, emotional or relationship patterns, or CBT for insomnia depending on your goals.
