Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, major life transitions, trauma, anxiety, or depression, I’m glad you’re here seeking support. Rather than focusing on happiness as a fixed goal, I help clients explore what fulfillment means in the context of their lives. Fulfillment allows space for the full range of emotional experiences supports a more honest, grounded way of engaging with yourself and the world. ClinicalApproach I bring a systems-oriented lens to our work together, considering how our early relationships and life experiences shape our current sense of self, the way we connect with others, and how we move through the world. My integrative approach draws from several evidence-based modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) But above all, I'm client-centered. I've seen what happens when therapy gets too rigid or robotic, when the humanity of it gets lost. That’s not what you’ll get with me. I’ll use evidence-based methods and also meet you with honesty, care, and a good sense of when to push and when to pause.

Do you feel like food, exercise, or how you look are taking up way too much space in your mind? Or like no matter what you do, it’s never “enough”? I specialize in supporting teens and young adults who are navigating eating disorders, body image struggles, and the pressure to be perfect. If you are unsure how to navigate this difficult journey or find it hard to trust your own relationship with food, now might be the time to reach out for help. We’ll focus on helping you build freedom around food and movement, while also exploring the deeper emotions and experiences that may be driving your eating disorder. I use EMDR therapy to help process painful memories and the critical beliefs that often fuel disordered eating. EMDR can be especially powerful in shifting old patterns and helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself. I also incorporate Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size (HAES), and All Foods Fit approaches. Whether you’re feeling stuck in recovery, overwhelmed by anxiety and perfectionism, or just ready to find a healthier relationship with yourself, I’ll meet you exactly where you are. You don’t have to go through this alone. Together, we can build a path toward healing, self-acceptance, and freedom.

Six Ten Counseling
Six Ten Counseling is a group practice of 19 licensed therapists in Easton, PA — five minutes from Lafayette College and an easy drive from Lehigh, Moravian, and Northampton Community College. We work with college students and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, eating concerns, substance use, grief, relationship stress, and identity exploration, and our practice is LGBTQ+ affirming. We know reaching out is often the hardest part, so we've made starting simple: no referral needed, we respond within one business day, and instead of assigning whoever's next, we listen to what you're working through and match you with a counselor whose training and approach actually fit. If the fit isn't right, we'll transfer you to another counselor in our practice — no awkwardness. Sessions are available in person at our Easton office or by secure telehealth anywhere in Pennsylvania or New Jersey — which means care can continue uninterrupted over winter break, summer, or after graduation for students from either state. We're in-network with Aetna, Capital Blue Cross, Cigna, Geisinger, Highmark, Horizon BCBS, Optum, Anthem, and UnitedHealthcare, including most student and parent plans, and we're happy to verify coverage before a first session. Our counselors hold advanced certifications in EMDR for trauma, perinatal mental health, addiction counseling, and trauma-focused care. Currently accepting new clients.

Welcome! I'm glad you're here. Taking the first step in seeking therapy can feel overwhelming in itself. We know life can be complicated, unpredictable, and at times challenging to navigate. I've been working as a therapist for over 13 years and have experience supporting individuals and families across the lifespan. Helping young adults navigate life transitions as they embark on adulthood and gain newfound independence has become a particular passion of mine. I work from a trauma-informed framework with clients and students experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, PTSD, depression, social pressures, identity exploration, disordered eating, life transitions, grief, loss, and concerns related to the LGBTQ+ community and their families. I strive to meet clients wherever they may be on their own journey. Sessions with me are authentic, supportive, creative, compassionate, and collaborative as we work together to develop individualized goals. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and EMDR-trained clinician, I offer art therapy services and interventions alongside other counseling approaches, including CBT, DBT, person-centered, and solution-focused techniques. Disclaimer: You do not have to be “good at art” to benefit from art therapy. You also have the freedom to decline art therapy altogether if you prefer more traditional talk therapy sessions. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!

We all want to be happy. We may feel stuck or face challenges. Getting support from someone on the outside, in the counseling or psychology field, can help you gain a new perspective. You can learn to make better choices, feel less anxious and feel more optimistic; find peace in the day-to-day. In my practice, I see adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families, and here’s a little bit about how I work: I work in the here-and-now and have background training in Gestalt theory and utilize a variety of psychotherapy techniques. I take a creative and practical approach to counseling that allows you to understand more quickly what drives you and helps you identify new and better ways of living. Quieting the “noise” that distracts you will help so you can focus your energy on what’s meaningful and fulfilling. I earned my masters in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA in 2007 and went on to complete the necessary 3+ years of post-graduate training to qualify for a psychotherapy license in the state of PA. I am paneled with many of the major commercial insurance plans as well as several employee assistance programs. During my 17 years experience as a counselor and research clinician, I was trained to utilize several semi-structured interviewing tools such as KSADS, SCID, and ISCA-D. I have published social psychology testing materials at the University of Pittsburgh while working on several major nationally-funded depression and anxiety studies under Doctors Birmaher, Axelson, and Kovacs. In 2010, I spent a year as a volunteer with the Good Grief Center of Pittsburgh where I had extensive training in grief counseling. In addition to my clinical skills, I hold a substance abuse education/SAP certification from UPMC. In addition to my clinical skills, I hold a substance abuse education/SAP certification from UPMC. Both my creative approach to counseling as well as my comprehensive diagnostic experience help formulate a plan of action that can help put you on the path to recovery. A Unique Approach Therapy should be as unique you are. We don’t wear the same clothes or read the same books. People respond differently to different types of interventions, so I always tailor treatment to respond to the your specific needs and situation. My goal is to leave you with strategies, communication skills, and new ways of thinking. In a world full of uncertainties, it takes courage to seek support. I believe that life is a process of learning and unlearning, and that all people deserve the opportunity to examine their concerns with a professional who is prepared to honor and respect their individual stories. Areas of practice include depression, anxiety, grief, spiritual, relational and sexual concerns, trauma, and issues with identity and belonging. I use a combination of methods including CBT and systems focused psychotherapy to help others live with intentionality in order to regain a sense of agency and follow their own path towards healing. My approach is centered in cultural humility, dignity, respect, and consideration. I value connection: with one’s mind and body, with family and community, both local and global. I believe that freedom, liberation, and healing is interconnected.

Dr. Aaron Myers
Hello! I want to help you get back to living your life as soon as possible. You'll find me to be passionate about providing a safe, confidential, supportive, and collaborative environment for you. My approach is influenced by my values of honesty, responsibility, accountability, compassion, and respect. I practice primarily from a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) perspective meaning I focus closely on the interconnectedness of your thoughts/beliefs/values, feelings, and behaviors to help you work toward your goals. I also utilized dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing techniques. I treat a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and relationship issues. I enjoy working with athletes on stressors or performance related issues. I have worked in a variety of settings in the mental health field. I am currently participating in PSYPACT which allows me the privilege of practicing virtually in 40 states (and growing). Finding the right "fit" in a therapist is one of the most important pieces of the puzzle. Once we meet, if we determine that we are not a fit, I'd be happy to guide you to someone who can and/or provide you with resources that may better help. I look forward to meeting you.

EMAIL ONLY, PLEASE. When we meet, it is in the forefront of my mind that making initial contact and coming to an appointment with a therapist can be daunting. In our work together, you are the experts on your experience. I use genuine curiosity and empathy to gain a true understanding of what is going on. Together, we can discuss how my experience and training can assist you. Therapy is not "one size fits all," and I encourage clients to be open in sessions about what is working (and perhaps more importantly, what is not!). I have experience working with clients of all ages with anxiety (including specific phobias) and mood disorders, and with children with behavioral problems. I most often draw from cognitive-behavioral (including Trauma-Focused CBT) and humanistic approaches. I also offer comprehensive assessments for ADHD, learning disorders, and psychological concerns. I have worked in mental health centers, schools, residential programs, juvenile detention centers, and college counseling centers, and am currently in independent private practice. I am also able to provide in-home therapy as needed. I am also licensed under PSYPACT, and able to provide services virtually in states detailed here: https://psypact.site-ym.com/

Working as a counselor has been one of the most gratifying experiences! I enjoy working with student athletes due their unique stressors due their performance in school and sports. They are highly motivated and always striving to improve. Giving students room to express themselves in a non- judgmental environment can help bring out their very best.
