Sunrise Counseling
At Sunrise Counseling, we understand that people need solutions that work in real life. Many of our clients come to us feeling lost, challenged, or overwhelmed—but through compassionate support and practical strategies, they find the courage to build new skills and feel more confident about themselves and their lives. Since 1990, our practice has been dedicated to helping children, adolescents, college students, women, and families take control of their lives so they can grow, heal, and thrive. Our team of therapists uses a flexible, individualized approach to meet each client’s needs. Sometimes this looks like traditional talk therapy, play therapy, or family therapy; other times it might include Telehealth video sessions for added convenience. We also integrate specialized techniques such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused strategies, and Play Therapy to help clients reach their goals. In addition to individual and family counseling, Sunrise Counseling offers group opportunities, including supportive groups for women and teens. These spaces allow clients to connect with others, share experiences, and learn new tools in a supportive environment. At Sunrise Counseling, we believe therapy should not only bring relief in difficult moments but also empower clients with lasting skills to feel good about themselves and their relationships. Together, we help individuals and families find clarity, resilience, and hope for the future.

Being a student is a non-stop balancing act of priorities. Are you in need of change but not sure what direction to go in? Life is unpredictable, but that doesn't mean you have to be overwhelmed by it. Maybe you're going through a difficult transition, dealing with chronic issues, or feeling burnt out from the constant grind. I can't wave a magic wand and make it all go away, but we can work together to make it more bearable. I believe you have the right to rest, to be, to thrive. I offer both traditional talk therapy and practical skills/tools to create noticeable growth in your daily life. Sessions with me may involve self-exploration, creating new habits in your day-to-day life, sitting with difficult emotions, taking time to relax in your body, or doing that one thing you've been putting off. This space and time is for you. If you're still unsure about the whole therapy thing, feel free to reach out for a free consultation. I function from a space of compassionate honesty and direct communication. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by being curious and open to change.

Acceptance and change are hard. I help people face and make space for their life histories and experiences and support them in identifying and making the changes that lead to meaning and satisfaction in their lives and relationships. I believe that you are the expert on your life, and my role is to provide encouragement, support and guidance on your journey of healing and growth. My practice is focused on the needs of men, and I enjoy helping men that are struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic illness or disability, relationship issues, complex trauma/childhood wounds, racial stress and trauma, and navigating adulthood/"failure to launch" and masculinity. As a Black man, I am committed to addressing the unique experiences of and challenges that face BIPOC men. I believe that humans are wired for connection and that profound and lasting healing comes from satisfying this essential need. My work is based on AEDP Psychotherapy (formally known as Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and Emotionally Focused Therapy. The AEDP Institute (aedpinstitute.org) describes AEDP Psychotherapy as “an experiential model that seeks to alleviate patients’ psychological suffering by helping them process the overwhelming emotions associated with trauma in a way that facilitates corrective emotional and relational experiences that mobilize positive changes in our neuroplastic brains.” The International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (iceeft.com/) describes Emotionally Focused Therapy as a “form of therapy that helps people understand and improve their emotional connection with themselves and others.” Both therapies emphasize the importance of our relationships with ourselves and others and use the power of corrective experiences with our emotions within the safe haven and secure base of the therapist-client relationship to fuel growth and healing. I also use skills and techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other approaches that emphasize mindfulness, acceptance, and compassion when needed to facilitate healing. I come from a family of helpers and healers, and I have been privileged to help people in a variety of roles and settings. I have worked as a state social welfare caseworker, an assistant in a state library for the blind and disabled, a respiratory therapist and a medical social worker. I grew up in a military family and was fortunate to be exposed to and learn from a variety of cultures. I am a member of the "sandwich generation” and know what it means to care for and support older and younger family members with chronic illness and disability simultaneously. As a person living with chronic illness, I also have lived experience with the challenges and limitations that come along with living with a disability. My experiences have fostered in me a deep appreciation of and respect for the diversity of the human experience. When I am not working, I enjoy all things that involve good food, friends, and family. I look forward to learning more about you, who and what matters to you, and traveling with you on your journey of hope and healing!
Roll for Wellness
Roll for Wellness offers community events, therapy, and workshops that prioritize providing affirming and supportive care for Neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism, Complex PTSD and other Chronic Mental Health Challenges), LGBTQ+ and BIPOC folks. I arrive to my career in clinical mental health as a queer, neurodivergent, person-centered, student intern therapist. I am driven to understand where someone may be at in life by honoring their intersectionality within the context of the systems they live within. I regularly work with the Bisexual+ community and the challenges they face within and outside the queer community. I specifically seek to work with neurodivergent populations that have experienced religious trauma, chronic illness, trafficking, depression, and substance use disorder. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I also love referencing art, cinema, and music to relate to the human experience. I will work alongside you, with what works for you. You are the expert in your own life, and I am here to witness that. Oftentimes, those of us who live on the fringes of society are told how to feel, and we are sometimes left unsure how to honor our truths while in relation to others. My goal in pursuing a career in therapy lies within the process of individuals becoming confident in discovering their own intuitive solutions for healing and growth.

Holistic Approach Sacred Journeys, LLC offers an environment of unconditional positive regard where individuals can safely heal and grow. I approach mental health from a holistic perspective. I am especially interested in the mind/body connection and its implications for natural healing. I often incorporate meditation and mindfulness in order to assist individuals in connecting to their own sources of healing and inner wisdom. I have also found that meditation and mindfulness can be especially helpful for individuals who have struggle with focus and concentration. I enjoy working with the disenfranchised population. I employ an array of expressive therapeutic interventions in order to assist clients in addressing symptoms of anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, anger management issues, spiritual dysphoria, as well as self-esteem issues. I draw from the theories of Hakomi, a Body-Centered Psychotherapy, as well as Internal Family Systems Therapy.

Welcome! My approach to therapy starts with believing that change is in our control and, by working from that mentality, we can learn to accept & grow from what we cannot control in order to live our life in an more optimal way. Being in the LGBT community myself, some of my clients value having a therapist that can connect with that experience. In my therapy space, I value authenticity, safety, freedom to choose, connection to others as well as ourselves, & being challenged. My clients want a safe & comfortable space that can help them facilitate growth (that can sometimes be uncomfortable) & I love when I can provide that. I enjoy working with college students who are curious about themselves, desire change, & are interested in exploring issues or past trauma that they feel may be holding them back. I've completed EMDR Basic Training and use this along with other evidence based practices to help my clients reach their goals.

College can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming at times. Are you struggling with transitions, depression, stress, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, or other mental health challenges? You do not have to navigate it alone. We provide a supportive space to help college students feel understood, build confidence, and create meaningful change.
Chloie Eberhard
College is a lot. You’re expected to keep up with classes, friendships, relationships, work, family expectations, and decisions about your future—all while somehow figuring out who you are and what you want your life to look like. Sometimes it can feel like everyone else has it figured out while you’re just trying to keep your head above water. I tend to work best with students who may look like they’re holding everything together on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, stuck, or unsure of themselves underneath it all. Maybe your mind never seems to shut off. Maybe you’re struggling with motivation or falling behind when you know you’re capable of more. Maybe relationships feel complicated, you have a hard time setting boundaries, or you’re starting to realize that things from your past are showing up in your life now. Or maybe you can’t quite explain what’s going on—you just know you haven’t felt like yourself lately. You don’t need to have the perfect words for what you’re experiencing before coming to therapy. You don’t need to know exactly what you want to work on, either. Sometimes we start with what happened this week. Sometimes we talk about something you’ve been carrying for years. Sometimes we figure it out together as we go. My goal is to create a space where you don’t feel like you have to perform, have the “right” answer, or convince me that what you’re going through is hard enough to matter. I want therapy to feel like a real conversation—one where you can laugh, cry, vent, be frustrated, ask questions, learn about yourself, and still leave with tools you can actually use outside of our sessions. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety and overthinking, depression, trauma, burnout, self-esteem, identity, relationships, family struggles, or simply trying to navigate this very weird transition into adulthood, you don’t have to have everything figured out before you reach out. We can start exactly where you are.
Allia Siler
Thank you for considering me to be part of your journey. My name is Allia (she/her), and for my clients, I provide a safe and healing place to grow. For the past four years, I’ve worked as a therapist and advocate for child and adult survivors of abuse and sexual assault. And through this work, I have honed my skills in helping people through trauma, transitions, self-worth issues, and identity. I work with a wide range of clients and survivors and particularly gravitate towards individuals within the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities and young adults. Each person is different and thus, each treatment plan is individualized to meet that person’s needs. And in working together, I will follow your lead and meet you where you are. I look forward to working together!
