Madeleine Wilson
From a young age, I’ve been drawn to people who don’t look, sound, or live like me. I believe the human story is one of the most powerful and inspiring elements of life; and I believe sharing our stories with others is medicine to both listener and teller. Curiosity is a big part of why I became a therapist. Glad Acres is named after the street my grandmother lived on. Her home was a safe and hospitable abode for many people to share their stories, and I seek to emulate the same in the therapy room. Outside of work, you can find me on my yoga mat, outside on a walk, deep in a craft project, or nursing a good cup of coffee. Music and shows have always been where I go to feel, process, and connect with myself and others. I've also had the opportunity to travel to Greece to work with women who survived trafficking, an experience that shaped how I understand resilience and what it means to help someone reclaim their story. I've been in therapy myself for 13 years, and I know how exhausting it can be to talk in circles; understanding why you feel something and still feeling stuck in your body. That's why I bring somatic, nervous-system-focused work like EMDR into my practice: healing isn't just intellectual, it's felt. I love working with people ready to do that inner work: a little nervous maybe, open to being gently challenged, showing up not perfectly, but consistently and with curiosity. Therapy is challenging, and I've seen its rewards in my own life, and in the lives of the people I've had the privilege to sit with. I'd be honored to walk alongside you throughout some of your journey. If any of this lands for you, I’d love to connect!

Virtual Sessions Only! Hi! I'm Stacey. I work with students who are experiencing anxiety. I have worked in Mental Health for over 20 years. I love working with college students! I like to describe myself as your mental health accountability partner. We often know the things we need to be doing to keep on top of our health and wellness, but it's easy to get off track. That's where I come in. I teach you self awareness and how to add daily habits that will help you overcome your anxiety. I give weekly homework (don't worry, it's easy and fun) to help you learn how to manage your anxiety daily. I like to empower my clients by teaching them how their bodies work and how to hack their own nervous systems so they can live a calm and relaxed life. I use an Integrative approach and also offer Hypnotherapy. I offer free consultations. I hope to hear from you!

You might be a student who looks like you have it together but feels anxious, burned out, or disconnected underneath. Maybe the pressure of classes, relationships, or figuring out who you are is heavier than you expected. Maybe you're navigating a big transition, far from home for the first time, or just noticing that the way you've always coped isn't working anymore. In therapy, we'll slow down, get curious about what's really going on, and build skills that help you feel more like yourself. I draw from a variety of approaches — including body-based techniques, mindfulness, and talk therapy — to tailor our work to what you actually need. You don't have to have it all figured out to start. You just have to show up.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, autism, life adjustments, and self-esteem for children, adolescents, and adults. In our work together, I'll help you navigate negative thought patterns and challenging life experiences. Demonstrating empathy and compassion is what led me into this field, and it's what helps me be the therapist my patients feel comfortable and secure working with throughout their healing journey. With every patient, I aim to provide a warm, safe, and therapeutic space for healing while prioritizing their comfort and needs, and I value receiving feedback and collaboration along the way. Seeking help isn’t always easy, but I believe it's never too late to start your journey of healing, growing, and changing. Together, we'll build a warm, comforting, and safe environment where that healing can happen. Within that space, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you accept difficult feelings and thoughts, transform negative thought patterns, learn new coping skills, and create changes to behavior patterns that lead to healthier and happier experiences. Mental health is something I'm passionate about, which is why I always ensure an empathetic, holistic, accepting, and supportive approach tailored to your unique needs, challenges, experiences, and goals. My path to becoming a therapist began with my career as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I gained four years of experience working with autistic children and adolescents, teaching communication, social skills, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and strategies for reducing challenging behaviors. This experience deepened my commitment to providing mental health services to a variety of different populations with many different problems. My clinical experience has also included work with patients at inpatient mental health facilities, children's advocacy centers, and hospice settings, supporting patients and their family members. These experiences have given me a well-rounded foundation in the counseling field, along with the skills to work with a broad range of patients and mental health struggles. During my free time, I enjoy exercising, hiking, exploring nature, and discovering new cities and adventures. On quieter days at home, I like watching my favorite shows, reading books, and cooking and baking.

As a person of color with three years of experience providing therapy in private practice and community mental health settings, I help underserved communities and beyond navigate life transitions, relationship issues, identity issues, self-esteem, and stress management, with a focus on youth, adolescents, and young adults. Bringing compassion and inclusivity to my work allows me to be a supportive partner to every patient I work with. I look forward to deepening our understanding, together with you, of how our emotions, thoughts, and feelings shape who we are today. Authenticity, collaboration, and inclusivity are at the heart of how I work. As a social worker specializing in play therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and person-centered care, I'm passionate about advocating for your needs while helping you build the coping skills to meet them. In session, I bring an open mind and use CBT and DBT to help you understand your emotions and feelings, and work through unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. This style is holistic, and tailored to your unique goals and needs at all times. My path to becoming a therapist began with aiding foster care youth, and eventually youth and adolescents in private practice settings, during my internship experiences in graduate school. Born and raised in Colorado, I have always been around young people, growing up volunteering in community settings and helping care for younger siblings and family. These experiences deepened my commitment to providing respectful, caring support that meets each patient's needs, and it's what led me to want to continue bringing mental health awareness to all walks of life. I bring that same open-mindedness and kindness to each session with you. Pickleball and tennis with friends are some of my favorite ways to unwind. I also enjoy trying new restaurants and coffee or boba shops with loved ones, going to concerts, shopping, gaming, and exploring everything my home state of Colorado has to offer. And a good karaoke night with friends or family is always a win!

My clients are smart, self-aware people who've been managing a lot on their own for a long time — and they're tired. They want to stop overthinking everything, feel more solid in their relationships, and figure out who they actually are underneath the performance. A lot of them are queer, neurodivergent, or both, and they're done explaining the basics to their therapist. They want someone direct, who notices patterns, and who won't let them stay comfortable when they're ready for something different. I'm a clinical psychologist. I work with attachment, identity, and the ways people get stuck trying to hold it all together. My style is warm but direct — I'll give you real feedback, not just nod and reflect. We use what works, and go at the pace your nervous system can handle. If you want an authentic therapist who's honest with you, helps you build skills that work outside the room, and actually tracks whether things are getting better — reach out. We'll figure out what matters and go from there.

Amy Briggs at Thrive Psychotherapy
I am a practicum intern therapist offering somatic, person-centered therapy for adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges and identity shifts. I am especially passionate about helping women traverse the emotional landscape of midlife, menopause, and perimenopause. My approach to therapy is grounded, intuitive, and deeply relational. I create a warm, attuned space where you feel supported in exploring who you are and where you want to go. I believe that change feeds the soul—and that healing begins when we meet ourselves with compassion, curiosity and courage. Before entering the field of psychotherapy, I was a professional musician and integrative somatic coach. Goldthreads Therapy
When life feels like too much to hold on your own, there is overwhelm, anxiety, uncertainty, or you could just use some extra support, therapy can be a beautiful choice. Therapy is many things; understanding old, habitual patterns, processing painful or confusing emotions, cultivating resources, reclaiming pleasure, and developing a trusted relationship with another person to process the most vulnerable parts. If talk therapy has already been tried and feels stale, then art and creativity, somatics, nervous system awareness, and nature connection can offer a profound alternative in your therapeutic journey. This is where I come in. I weave together art and creativity, somatics, nature-connection, and mindfulness. As well as reflection, contemplation, and talking to integrate. I work well with themes of identity, times of transition, expansion, self-compassion, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, decision making, burn-out, relationship dynamics, addiction, trauma, and parts work.

I provide a safe space in therapy for you to show up fully, just as you are. I support you in creating space to dismantle the various known and unknown obstacles blocking you from embodying your TRUE self. I believe you already have what it takes to heal and thrive, but you just need the right environment and community support to unravel and relearn. I have recently expanded to supporting adults who are seeking healing by means of EMDR & Internal Family Systems (IFS). Since 2012, I have primarily served children and their families in their homes and schools, assisting in child behavior, developmental disabilities, and early childhood trauma. I have experience working with first-time parents, grandparents raising grandchildren, teen parents, and foster/adoptive families. I also uses art therapy, sand tray therapy, wilderness therapy, play therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy in my practice. In my free time, I loves to engage in her local community of the North Fork Valley located in Paonia, CO on the Western Slope. Over the last decade, I have dedicated volunteer hours at the Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy Center educating youth in prevention, as a National Forest winter & summer ranger, and as a Search & Rescue member. Since 2017, I have been actively educating myself and others in racial justice education and is committed to further developing my own understanding of internal-racial bias and translating this into advocacy work. I am currently on the board of Delta County Cares, an advocacy group for social and racial justice efforts. Offering therapy online and in-person (Paonia location only).
